Overview

This page provides the official strain sensitivity data of CHRONOS.

CHRONOS (Cryogenic sub-Hz cROss torsion-bar detector with quantum NOn-demolition Speed meter) is a cryogenic torsion-bar interferometer designed to explore the sub-Hz gravitational-wave band and stochastic gravitational-wave backgrounds.

The dataset distributed here corresponds to the total gravitational-wave strain noise amplitude spectral density (ASD):Sh(f)[1/Hz]Sh(f)[1/Hz]

This curve represents the quadrature sum of all modeled noise sources in the current CHRONOS configuration.
